Delivery partners

Who does the work, and how we choose them

We do not install anything. Where work is appropriate it goes to someone we have used ourselves, whose credentials we have checked on the public registers, and whose name we are willing to put next to ours.

How someone becomes a delivery partner

Our guides refer to a vetted delivery partner. This page explains what vetted means here, because a word like that is worth nothing unless somebody shows you the working.

They have already done work for us.

Not a quotation, not a conversation at a trade show. Work completed, paid for and lived with. That includes work on our own properties, because the fastest way to learn how somebody operates is to be their customer.

We have seen them outside renewables.

Most of our partners came to us through ordinary work: electrical installations, plumbing, heating, maintenance. That matters more than it sounds. Anyone can look competent on a straightforward job. What we are actually judging is how somebody behaves when a job goes wrong, when something is found behind a wall, or when the honest answer costs them money.

Their credentials are checked on the public register, not taken on trust.

Companies House, TrustMark and the MCS register are all public and free. We look, we record the number and the date we looked, and we look again periodically. If a certificate lapses or its scope changes, the reference on this site changes with it.

We are willing to be asked about them afterwards.

The test we apply is simple. If this went badly, would we be comfortable explaining to you why we suggested them? Where the answer is anything other than yes, they are not on this page.

What we do not do, and who carries what

This is the part most people find out after something has gone wrong. We would rather you knew before.

We do not install, and we hold no installer accreditation.

Eco Connect Services is an advisory business. We are not MCS certified, we do not carry out electrical or plumbing work, and we cannot apply for a government grant on your behalf. Only a certified installer can do that.

Your contract is with the installer, not with us.

The quotation, the design, the workmanship warranty, the consumer protection scheme and the certificate at the end all sit with whoever carries out the work. We are not a party to it, and we cannot stand behind somebody else's workmanship.

We can still be told about it.

If a partner we suggested has let you down, tell us. We cannot fix the work, but we decide who appears on this page, and a partner who treats one of our readers badly does not stay on it.

Who they are

Named, with the credentials we have checked and the date we last checked them. This list is short on purpose.

How we are paid

We are not paid for passing work to a delivery partner. There is no commission, no finder's fee and no reciprocal arrangement, which is why nothing on this site is written to steer you towards a particular installer or a particular product.

If that ever changes, this page will say so plainly and it will say so before you act on anything, not afterwards. An adviser with an undeclared financial interest is not independent, whatever the rest of the website says.

Information and source control

Information correct as of: 13 September 2026.

Company registrations, TrustMark licences and MCS certificates change, including their scope. Every reference on this page carries the date we checked it. The registers are public and linked above, and we would encourage you to check them yourself rather than take our word for it.
